What inspires you? What makes you decide when exactly to press that shutter button?.....

Sometimes inspiration can be hard to find, or we get stuck in a rut, producing the same kind of shot....... Well here you will find some ideas, a little bit of inspiration, and things I find useful, to keep pushing me to look at the world differently.

It's been a while now, since I owned a camera, I mean a real camera.
I remember the days, I used to load a new reel of film, Twenty-four blank screens awaiting to be filled, and set off to shoot them all on a self-imposed assignment.
The quick aesthetic thrill that comes of walking along, brain in composition mode scanning back and forth for an appealing subject as one walks.
Then suddenly, body freezes:
Here! - No, back! No, forward!
Here....
THIS composition!
From THIS angle!
With THIS lighting
Is perfection:

What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare,
No time to stand beneath the boughs, and stare as long as sheep or cows,
No time to see in woods we pass, where squirrels hide their nuts in grass,
No time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars, like skies at night,
No time to turn at Beauty's glance, and watch her feet how they can dance,
No time to wait till her mouth can, enrich that smile her eyes began,
A poor life this if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare...
